Campaign against the use of Single-use Plastic

Siddhartha Shankar Ray Foundation undertook a campaign against the use of Single-use plastic. The campaign was undertaken in parts of Bidhannagar (Salt Lake) between 15th September, 2019 - 31st October, 2019.
The campaign involved distribution of jute bags and non-woven bags among the shopkeepers and the residents of various areas. Leaflets and stickers were also used to create awareness.
The jute bags and non-woven bags were provided to us by some benevolent corporate houses under CSR.
